I have been working on a project with NASA called ARISS
(Amateur Radio International Space Station) and this consists of talking to astronauts on the ISS (International Space Station).
During the week of Nov. 14th, students will have the opportunity to ask questions to the astronauts through a special radio which will be set up in the school gym. The contact with the astronauts will be for only 10 minutes which is really short, so we will choose the most relevant questions to be asked.
The ISS has 3 fundamental goals: They are:
-Study the human body after it’s been in space for a long .me
-Have varied scientific experiences in 0 gravity situations
-Observe the Earth and the solar system This is an educational project that gives us a unique chance to talk to the astronauts, to have fun and learn about life in space.
